Top of the Party is the one place where you will find everything you need to plan your next event. We are high-end, full-service, party-planning professionals. You don’t have to worry about any aspect of your event because we work out all of the details from beginning to end. Hiring an event planner takes the pressure off you so you can just enjoy hosting the party while we execute an amazing event. We want you to be able to enjoy your party without worrying about anything.
In addition to planning all different kinds of parties, we also create custom balloon arrangements and custom yard signs. We work with our clients to come up with an amazing design for a balloon column, arch, or bouquet, and the only limit is your imagination. We will set up custom yard signs at any hour so you can celebrate your party in style.
Top of the Party is a multi-generational family business. It started over 30 years ago with Karen Ferenzo. She wanted to create amazing events for people, and her daughter, Farrah, has taken over with her husband, Jeff, and her brother, Hal. Get to know the family behind every Top of the Party event! This dedicated, multi-generational team works tirelessly to make sure your next party, wedding, or other event is everything you dream it to be.
Farrah Edelstein
Farrah was born to produce events! As a young girl, she worked alongside her mother, Karen Ferenzo, who started Top of the Party, Ltd. Their event planning company has produced high-end events for more than 30 years.
After graduating from Syracuse University in 2003, Farrah pursued a career in event production; first as sales manager at Cipriani Wall Street, and later, as event manager at Somerstein Caterers at The Water’s Edge. In 2010, she joined the iconic Manhattan venue, Capitale, where she directed and produced custom events ranging from intimate nuptial ceremonies to over-the-top star-studded galas.
Farrah has successfully planned thousands of events. Some that stand out for her are events for Alicia Keys, former Presidents Bush and Clinton, the New York Knicks, 30 Rock, Tyra Banks and Gloria Steinem, just to name a few. Farrah has taken over Top Of The Party, Ltd from her mother.
Jeff Edelstein
Jeff is one of the driving forces behind the business growth at Top of the Party. He utilizes his extensive background in sales and marketing to optimize revenue generation and secure new business opportunities.
Growing up just 20 miles from New York City in Rockland County, NY, Jeff took a unique path to the event industry. He attended SUNY Oswego, where he majored in Meteorology and Psychology and spent several years as a college television weatherman. After graduation, Jeff transitioned into telecom sales, spending nearly a decade honing his skills in high-volume environments. He later expanded his expertise into real estate and successfully launched several small businesses.
Today, he channels that diverse background into Top of the Party, ensuring our business engine runs perfectly behind the scenes.
He loves working alongside his wife, Farrah, to elevate the brand ensuring every party is a memorable event.
Karen Ferenzo
Karen loves an over the top party! With her creative eye and style she planned her son’s bar mitzvah 34 years ago. The event was such a hit that she got calls the next day to plan their own events. From that point on Top Of The Party was formed. The business grew and clients were formed all around the tri state area.
Karen is always thinking out of the box and not one event is the same. She saw her daughter Farrah had the talent and brought her in at a young age to learn the business.
Hal Ferenzo
Hal grew up learning about the event business alongside his mom, Karen, and his sister, Farrah. Hal prefers the more hands-on, production side of the business and enjoys turning Farrah's creative vision into a reality.
Hal is incredibly detail-oriented and executes picture-perfect events, perfectly aligned yard signs, and anything else Top of the Party's clients can dream up.
